Data Access and Deletion Requests

Parents and guardians can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by Stepping Stones Pre-School.
How to submit a request
- Email sspsinvoicing@gmail.com with the subject Privacy or data deletion request.
- State whether you want access, correction, removal of a WhatsApp notification opt-in, or deletion of information.
- Provide enough information for the school to locate your records; the school may ask for reasonable verification before disclosing or changing information.
What happens next
The school will review the request, respond through a suitable contact channel and explain any information that must be retained for accounting, safeguarding or other applicable obligations. Deletion requests may not require immediate removal of records the school is legally required to keep.
WhatsApp messages and notifications
You may ask the school to stop automated WhatsApp tuition notifications. This does not stop email invoicing or payment reminders. Requests relating to data held independently by WhatsApp or Telegram may also need to be directed to those services.
